Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development
  • Assist in the Product direction (new functionality), identifying gaps in the product and proposing solutions to resolve
  • Write business requirements including creating mock-ups and POC (Proof of Concept)
  • Create documentation around new releases/functionality and keep the firm’s internal resources abreast of the new releases and features
  • Business Analysis, Project Management & QA
  • Review business requirements, expected results and workflows with development team.
  • Review and provide feedback on the Development implementation plan.
  • Assist in the validation of the enhancements and fixes.
  • Help manage the lifecycle from Conception > Development > QA > Production
  • Assist Sales and the client coverage team in:
    • documenting complex client issues and identifying solutions;
    • setting-up and configuring system for demo and testing purposes;
    • attending demo/client meetings to help communicate the offering, help identify gaps and assist in forming long term product direction and perform demos to demonstrate the capabilities of the platform.


Desired Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will possess the following:
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of Execution and Order Management Systems
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of FIX Protocol and other Trading API’s, Broker Algorithms
  • Knowledge of various investments including Equities, Futures, Options, Fixed Income and FX
  • Knowledge of trading and operational workflows for Hedge Funds and Asset Managers
  • Ability to multi-task is a must


Required education: Degree in Business, Finance, or any other related field
