Copp Clark Professional is a unit of Pearson Plc. Founded
in 1841 by Hugh Scobie, the company was originally established
in Toronto, Canada as a printing and bookbinding company.
In 1869, two employees, William W. Copp and Henry J.
Clark obtained control and over a period of time, built
‘The Copp Clark Publishing Company’ into
a major Canadian publishing enterprise, offering a wide
range of titles as well as business stationery and board
games. Copp Clark Professional is today, the oldest
continuously active publisher in Canada.
In recent years, Copp Clark’s business activities
have been streamlined to focus on the financial markets.
Copp Clark Professional is currently the leading publisher
of financial trading and settlement calendars in the
world.
