TradingScreen is providing global coverage from offices in New York, Chicago, London, Paris, Madrid, Geneva, Sao Paulo, Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

 

Position Summary:

 

This is a unique opportunity for someone seeking to combine a strong technology-centered education with a solid understanding of financial markets, and effective interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to successfully integrate technology solutions into financial market products, in addition to understanding and comfortably communicating the technology behind such products.  The successful candidate will work closely with Client Services and Sales departments, primarily focusing on understanding the company products and client base.  This includes interacting with TradingScreen peers in multiple locations around the world to enhance the learning process.

 

The candidate must be a highly professional, self-motivated and organized individual with a proven track record of exceeding targets; must be willing to travel. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities as well as analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. The position has significant client interaction which places a premium on interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high degree of self-confidence and technical ability.

 

Trainees will participate in a comprehensive 18-24 month rotational program through Client Services divisions, highlighted with formal training. Trainees will be based in one of the following locations: New York, London or Hong Kong.  During the initial phase of the training period, trainees will learn the full range of Client Services.  Trainees must successfully meet the performance standard for each stage of the rotational program before they move into the next phase.  At the end of the rotational program, successful candidates will be placed in one of our Sales offices around the world. Candidates must be flexible with regard to international travel and extended periods away from home.  The position will initially report to a member of the Client Services management team.

 

Language Skills:

Excellent written and oral English plus preferably at least one of the following languages to a business level (written and oral): Cantonese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese or Spanish

 

Education:

 

Engineering undergraduate degree preferred, or Finance orientated Bachelor's (BA/BS or University degree) degree with an exceptional aptitude and interest in technology.
