Philippe Buhannic is an industry pioneer who
has brought TradingScreen to the forefront of global
markets. With more than 20 years of executive management,
technical and marketing experience in international
markets, Buhannic founded TradingScreen with Joseph
Ahearn on the premise of aiming to service both the
buy and sell-sides as global markets became more electronic.
Together, he and Ahearn have established TradingScreen
as a leading execution management system (EMS) of electronic
trading, execution and order management.
Prior to TradingScreen, Buhannic served as a Managing
Director at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”)
in New York. While at CSFB, he worked in Fixed Income
where he handled listed derivatives, prime brokerage
and e-commerce. Buhannic was also responsible for creating
and implementing CFSB’s e-commerce products including
the “Prime Family” that includes PrimeTrade,
PrimeClear, Prime Brokerage and PrimeFund; all of which
have received industry accolades as a successful attempt
at global distribution of electronic, multi-asset asset
class transaction processing via the world wide web.
From 1993-1995 Buhannic served as Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Fimat Futures USA, Inc., the subsidiary
of French investment bank Société Generale
(SocGen), where he was credited with establishing Fimat
as a viable and profitable player in the US marketplace.
Prior to SocGen, Buhannic from 1987 to 1993 was the
deputy Chief Financial Officer of Crédit Commercial
de France, where he oversaw the global marketing of
short-term FX and interest rate products.
Buhannic holds a Masters of Business Administration
(MBA) with a specialization in international business
from New York University's Stern School of Business,
a Masters degree in Finance and Taxation from Institut
d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and has taught business
and finance courses at both his alma maters. He is a
longtime board member of the Futures Industry Association
and has worked in many financial capitals including
New York, Paris, São Paulo and Zurich. He is
fluent in French and Portuguese.

Michael Chin was named
President of TradingScreen, Inc. in January of 2008
after seven years as Global Head of Sales with the firm.
Based in New York, Chin oversees TradingScreen’s
global sales, marketing and support functions as well
as new business development.
Chin joined TradingScreen after 13 years with investment
bank JP Morgan, in which he worked between various trading
and managerial roles. His areas of business while at
the bank ranged from fixed income, foreign exchange
derivatives and commodity derivatives.
From 1987 to 1993, Chin worked between New York and
Tokyo for JP Morgan as a trader in foreign exchange
derivatives which led to him the role of Head of FX
Options Trading & Marketing for North America. In
1994, Chin served as FX Derivatives Business Manager
for the Asia/Pacific region, which led him to relocating
to Singapore and Hong Kong for two years. In 1995, Chin
became the Global Business Manager for JP Morgan’s
Commodity Derivatives trading business.
Just before joining TradingScreen, Chin was head of
JP Morgan’s Fixed-Income Trading Group. Amongst
his responsibilities during this period, he also chaired
the e-Trading Steering Committee for JP Morgan Investment
Management.
